Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you need to clean up your mess quickly then a robot vacuum and mop is the best way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops I've tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also simple to use using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and check on how they're up to.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combo that has cutting-edge features consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end model is incredibly swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface with a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another notable feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode based on dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, including a dock that connects to your home's plumbing system to wash and clean it without you needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8, you can use voice commands to specify rooms cleaning options and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that can mop the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums that also feature mops but is priced at a lower price than most of the competition.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including setting up an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process may take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate image of your living space. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and required a flip to free itself. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features an inclination that is similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you adjust various settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging station after each job to wash their pads and empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from recirculating. And its battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the expensive robot vacuum and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and wasn't always able to get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. The operating level of the sound is also quite high, so this model might not be as easy to set and forget as other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in an ongoing basis. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers and vacuums available, and offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, set no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. good robot vacuum robotvacuummops mopping system has intelligent carpet detectors that lift these pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they are emptied.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot is a slick job at keeping my home office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D-map of your home so that it knows what to avoid. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
It also has some outstanding standout features, including the self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach places that other mops don't. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend extra money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this little robot is an excellent option. It comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick the tangled tassels of a rug and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tested.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and a handy automation into a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did quite well. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the quiet mode with low power for light debris to the powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used even in small areas. It's very quiet and fast, and it does a good job of navigating tight spots. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take a picture of any object it comes across (i.e. chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and are not linked to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
